About Us

My name is Eileen Castine, and I started pet sitting several years ago for family and friends. Animals have always held a special place in my heart.  It was so rewarding for me, and I decided to devote my time to creating a livelihood doing what I love.  Originally from the Detroit area, I started Mr. Scruff's in 2003 after moving to Memphis. And I wanted to do it right-we are licensed, bonded, and insured.  This is our full-time job, and we take it seriously!

Ricci Mundy is my partner in this venture.  She had always helped out but was able to quit her job and join me full time.  It was a moment we both worked hard to accomplish. We complement each other well with our love for the animals--she has a unique charm that animals can't seem to resist.

We share our house with three dogs, two kitties, and a tank full of fish.  Below is our gallery of our own animal family.
